McDonagh is making efforts to become a green company.  We make every attempt to recycle the contents of each and every jobsites when possible.  The materials that we recycle include lumber, metals, asphalt, masonry, concrete, pipe, rocks, dirt, and other materials.

Some materials are also recycled and reused onsite.  Through the use of concrete crushers, concrete from buildings or foundations can be crushed into compactable stone and used for the site remediation.  McDonagh will transfer on-site clean material from one area of a site to another area to build up landscape areas or the building footprint areas.

Some of the materials that are recycled include:

  • Bricks, concrete, and other masonry materials
  • Soil
  • Rock
  • Wood; including nonhazardous painted, treated, and coated wood and wood products
  • Wall coverings
  • Plaster
  • Drywall
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Non-asbestos insulation
  • Roofing shingles and other roof coverings
  • Reclaimed asphalt pavement
  • Glass
  • Plastics that do not conceal waste
  • Electrical wiring and components that do not contain hazardous substances
  • Piping
  • Metal materials
