This project was performed to remediate the site for the building of a new Chicago Public School. McDonagh removed over 33,000 tons of special urban waste and imported 25,000 tons of clean fill.
The scope of this project included:
- Removal of Soils (Special Urban Waste)
- Backfill with Clean Fill
- Compaction of Clean Fill
- Installation of Fabric to Separate Aggregate types.
- Final Grading of Site, which include several elevations for the new building footprint, hardscape and landscaped areas.
- Construction Fencing with Wind Screening
- Silt and Erosion Control
- LEED Project
